English documentation

The Parker AC20 compact drive is an economical and highly functional solution for general-purpose motor control applications. AC20 provides speed or torque control from 1.5 kW to 180 kW.

Its compact dimensions house many features normally only associated with system drives, sensorless vector mode for permanent magnet (PMAC) and AC induction motor control, encoder feedback and IO expansion option boards, safe torque off and an integrated Ethernet port supporting all major industrial Ethernet protocols.

Simplicity

The AC20 drive is designed to reduce the time and effort required to select, install, set-up and commission Two option board variants are available, and both are user-installable/replaceable. Minimal wiring requirements with two easily accessible terminal rails and removable power cable grounding brackets make the AC20 quick and easy to install. All AC20s come with a large quantity of user-configurable IO and a user-disconnectable C3 EMC filter as standard. Programming and commissioning are simplified by the integrated keypad and DSELite programming tool.

Reliability

Proven technology and manufacturing techniques ensure that AC20 has been designed and built to deliver exceptional levels of performance day after day - guaranteeing maximum uptime and productivity. Thanks to its conformal-coated PCBs, AC20 is designed to withstand C3 environments.

Compatibility

AC20 has been designed with system compatibility in mind. The compact footprint allows installation in existing spaces, while the number of I/Os has been chosen to allow maximum flexibility. The internal block diagram is fully featured to allow replacement of older Parker inverters, and on-board Ethernet communication protocols facilitate integration into larger systems. Adaptable plug-in communication boards cover all popular protocols and are simple to configure.
