HXR high-voltage motors with finned housing
ABB's TEFC motors (shielded with external fan), type HXR, are designed specifically for each customer's application.
Typically used with pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, conveyors, sprayers, boat propellers and AC generators, these motors are ideally suited to drive pumps in the power plant and process industries, as well as other continuous duty applications.
HXR motor losses have been reduced by efficient use of materials and fan optimization, thus avoiding significant drops in part-load efficiency.
