\n- Position sensor: cylinders for the standard temperature range are fitted with a magnet for proximity position detection. An optional bracket fixed securely along the cylinder tube allows the mounting of electronic or reed-type sensors, which can be supplied either with a flying lead or a connector. The low-temperature version features a magnetic ring on the piston for proximity detection (however, please note that sensors are normally specified for normal operation down to -25\u00b0C only). The high-temperature version does not have a magnetic ring on the piston and therefore cannot be used with sensors.

- Operating environment: To ensure the longest possible service life and trouble-free operation, use dry, filtered compressed air complying with quality standard ISO 8573-1:2010, class 3.4.3. This standard specifies a dew point of +3\u00b0C for indoor operation (a lower dew point should be selected for operation at lower temperatures) and is in line with the air quality provided by most conventional compressors with a standard filter.

Parker P1S series stainless steel pneumatic cylinders have been specially designed for use in particularly demanding environments. The rod, cylinder tube and flanges are all made of stainless steel. Flanges have no recesses or other grooves to reduce areas where dirt or liquids can collect, ensuring easy, effective cleaning. This hygienic design, with external seals in fluorinated rubber and pre-lubricated with USDA-H1 industry-approved food-grade grease, makes these cylinders particularly suitable for use in the food industry.<\/p>\n

A version in sizes \u00d810 to \u00d825mm to ISO 6432 incorporates fixed cushioning, while sizes \u00d820 - \u00d8125mm feature adjustable pneumatic cushioning with screws for precise adjustment. Adjustable pneumatic damping enables higher loads and higher operating speeds, making the cylinder suitable for more demanding applications with shorter cycle times. Fixed dimensions to ISO 6431\/6432 simplify
